Therese Motard, born in Cornwall, Ontario, is a graduate of the Conservatoire de Musique de Montreal. She pursued her graduate studies in New York under world famous masters with the support of Canada Council grants. Her excellence as a musician has brought her all over the world touring with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, La Pieta, and with many chamber music groups. She has performed with famous artists such as Celine Dion, Pavarotti, David Bowie, Victor Borge and YoYo Ma. She can be heard frequently on television and radio.
Madame Motard has produced several Cd's, such as "In the Garden" and "Hope-Espoir-Hatikva". These are among some 40 Cd's in which she has performed. Therese has also won the 2007 Shai Awards for the best instrumental CD, "It Is Well With My Soul."
